Arnarvatnsheidi South – Fishing Packages
LOCATION: Arnarvatnsheidi South approx. 250. Km west of Reykjavik.
FISHING SEASON: From June 15th until August 20th.
TOUR DURATION: 7 days including transfer (5 days fishing)
SPECIES / FISHING ARRANGEMENT: Arctic char & brown trout / fly fishing, spinning, bait fishing.
TACKLE: Single handed fly rods. Line weight 4-8 and spinning rods
PRICE INCLUSIVE:
Ground transport. Pick up from KEF International Airport/drop off at the Arnarvatnsheidi South. Pick up at Arnarvatnsheidi South/drop off in Reykjavik. Fishing permits 5 days, areal map & directions.
Itinerary Suggestion
Day 1
Arrival at the KEF International Airport.
Guests are welcomed at the airport by our fishing guide/driver.
Departure from the airport followed by 45 minute drive to Reykjavik.
Stopover by an city outskirt supermarket for supplying food and fuel.
Departure from Reykjavik followed by approx. 3 hour drive to the Arnarvatnsheidi South. Drop off at the Arnarvatnsheidi South.
Day 2-3-4-5-6
Fishing and hiking self-guided at the Arnarvatnsheidi South.
Day 7
Pick up from the Arnarvatnsheidi South
Stopover at the Hraunfossar waterfalls. Drop off at Reykjavik hotel/guesthouse or at the KEF International Airport if rather preferred.
